Endgrate Product Update: 9/18/23

Hope your September has been going well. We're excited to kick off the week with some more product updates.

New + Updated Integrations

• Google
  • Updated Google Sheets header retrieval in settings.
  • Sign in with Google buttons.
• Jira
  • Include the ability to filter tasks.
• FTP
  • A new integration allowing file uploads in CSV format to any FTP server.
• Pendo
  • Ability to specify a page name in the page_id setting for prepopulated instances.

Integration Features

We're always improving the quality of our existing integrations, and we're happy to announce that we have revamped our entire integrations library with:

• ID fields across our entire library (for associations, and the only_updated functionality).
• Field surfacing improvements: all fields are returned and available by default for all integrations.

New Features

We're so excited to release some long-awaited features for the Endgrate platform!

• Array support: Dealing with arrays within objects has always been a point of concern for us. How do you support arrays with such flexible schemas and field mapping? What about when arrays have objects inside of them? What if a user maps a non-array field to an array field, or vice versa? We worked very hard to build out array support while maintaining the ease of field mapping for users and defining schemas for developers. The end result is completely seamless support for arrays within objects. To pull or push arrays within your schema, simply follow the JSON schema standard for arrays (include "type": "array" - Endgrate handles the rest).
  
• Preselect features: Some of our customer use cases entail building out the integration selection UI themselves. With our latest release, this use case is now supported! To enable this, simply specify a provider in the initiate request, and to select a specific integration, just specify it in the schema.
• Error improvements: Thanks for all of your amazing feedback regarding our new errors dashboard. In the past 2 weeks, we've significantly improved the infrastructure and parsing around these errors so we can give you actionable feedback around integration errors.
• New documentation for only_raw_data, /api/integrations, the new preselect features, and more available here.
• Revamped mapping algorithm and infrastructure.
• Bug fixes and feature improvements.
